So Louise Haigh, whoever she may be, says that a wildly improbable future Labour Government would be neutral in relation to any Northern Ireland border poll.
Well, hold the front page. Every Government since 1985 has said this explicitly, and every Government before that had at least implied it.
Who is either Boris Johnson or the apparently consternated Keir Starmer trying to please by suggesting that his Government either was or would be Unionist in principle in relation to Northern Ireland?
No Government ever has been in the past, and nothing in the actions of the present one suggests that it is now.
As long as the 32 county republic has an NHS.
