It is now official that Jeremy Corbyn is not a terrorist sympathiser after all. Paul Nickerson is putting it about that he did not take advice, but just paid up to please his wife. In that case, then he would have only himself to blame.
But it is done now. Next up, Corbyn should sue someone who has called him an anti-Semite. Can you sue the Equality and Human Rights Commission? How about that? Would that he had acquired this assertiveness six years ago.
Nickerson may not have taken advice, although who really believes that? But Corbyn will have done. He would never have issued the writ unless he had been absolutely certain that he would have won. With any luck, he now has the taste for these things. A lot have people would then have it coming.
The Tories seem to have kicked out Nickerson.
