Confidence and Supply

There is going to be another hung Parliament. Do you want another Coalition between the Conservatives and the significantly more pro-austerity and internationally belligerent Liberal Democrats? Boris Johnson does not really believe in Brexit at all, and certainly not more than he wants to be Prime Minister.

Or do you want a confidence and supply arrangement between Labour and the SNP? The cancellation of Brexit and the departure of the Conservatives from Government would mean that the opponents of Scottish independence would win another referendum. But even so, Brexit would have to be cancelled, and the SNP's baleful record on public services would have to be replicated South of the Border.

By the way, the DUP is going to have a pretty bad night. But there are other options. Re-elect Chris Williamson at Derby North. Elect George Galloway at West Bromwich East, both for this reason and because the return of the Maxwells means that we need his return to parliamentary privilege. Elect Matt Dilworth at Stoke North. And elect me at North West Durham.
