Labour took 80 per cent of the vote in Liverpool Wavertree, a 10 per cent increase between 2015 under Ed Miliband, and 2017 under Jeremy Corbyn.
All the constitutional theory in the world cannot make it any less outrageous that the MP feels that she can now do this and stay in her seat.
And think of the Constituency Labour Party in Wavertree. Days after being pushed into withdrawing its motion of no confidence in the MP, she does this.
