The idea of Labour's losing either Bishop Auckland or Stockton North is so completely preposterous to anyone in these parts that the idea of UKIP's gaining Rotherham, Dudley North, Ashfield, Plymouth Moor View, Great Grimsby, Blackpool South, Don Valley, Mansfield, Scunthorpe, Walsall North or Workington is no doubt equally naive and based on crunching numbers without the slightest feel for anything else.
