"Al-Qaeda" In Iran, "Al-Qaeda" In Syria

Jundullah.

And the kidnappers of bishops.

We are actively supporting both.

We must be utterly, utterly, utterly mad.

  1. Interesting that Israel is now pushing the line that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons and that the international community must take "tougher action" against the Assad government.

What does "tougher action" mean and who is to take this action? More importantly, who will benefit from this action?

  2. Gaddafi defeated the insurgent terrorist threat (or so-called 'transitional government') in his own country on no less than three occasions in the ~12 months before the US and EU moored their boats off his coastline and shelled him into submission.

No doubt the same fate awaits Assad, it having already been declared so by the Saudis.

But why? I don't even see what the Israelis get out of this, though get something they surely must.
