Whenever I bring this sort of thing up to interventionists, they respond that the bulk of the rebel coalition is not Islamist.
ReplyDeleteHowever, even if we concede that point (which may be dubious) from what I have read Al-Nusra and other Islamists are clearly superior fighters when compared to other anti-Assad forces and are gaining strength every day. It is impossible to imagine a rebel victory without significant gains for the Islamists.
