Unwelcome Back

Tony Blair appeared before a Commons Committee yesterday, since this is one of the ever-dwindling band of countries that he is still permitted to enter.

But that Committee did not ask him why so many jurisdictions now classified him as undesirable alien.

Nor about how enormously rich he has become as his reward for the reason why he is so regarded.

Nor about how his every expense claim from his many years as an MP has somehow been shredded.

Funny, that.

  1. Yes, it's almost as if the Committee understood what it's job was.

  2. Questioning Blair as Middle East Peace Envoy.

"How can you be Middle East Peace Envoy when you are banned from ever-more countries because of your war crimes in the Middle East, crimes that have made you extremely rich?", they failed to ask him.

  3. Again, because they know the difference between doing their job and cheap grandstanding?

  4. It's the only question of any importance where Blair and the Middle East is concerned.
