Pester Power?

Being able to get your online petition debated in Parliament is a very a bad idea, which would negate much of the good done by electoral reform. It would massively favour the shoutiest and the sharpest-elbowed, the people who really do believe that Jeremy Clarkson should be Prime Minister. Many of them are now beginning, or will soon begin, a prolonged period of unemployment, during which they will have all the time in the world for online petitions.
