Thomas Cook and Thompson can put up their prices by ten per cent because of the weak pound, and we can all holiday in this United Kingdom instead, as well as welcoming even more visitors than we always draw anyway.
Like manufacturing, domestic tourism is a major employer and a major contributor to the Exchequer. What is good for them is good for Britain. And the weak pound is good for them.
