Lords A-Paying
Good luck to Lord Oakeshott in his bid to prevent those who do not pay tax in this country, or who are non-doms, from sitting or voting in the House of Lords. Tory peers are not beholden to party. And how can anyone with the slightest conservative instinct support participation in Parliament by those who use Abroad in order to exempt themselves from the financial responsibilities of the rest of us? Let this Bill be passed unanimously, and see if the Tories in the Commons then dare to oppose it.
