Why is anyone surprised? Doctors are human beings, albeit highly intelligent, highly educated and highly skilled human beings. And as for the Hippocratic Oath, what about abortion? What about infanticide? Or what about euthanasia, as widely, but illegally and immorally, practised?
In fact, when next you hear or read someone from the euthanasia lobby, just think of this case. Some doctors are saints. Most are just doing the best that they can, like the rest of us. And some are evil.
No one finds it difficult to believe that some stupid, uneducated or unskilled people are saints. So what is so difficult about believing that some doctors are evil?
