Selling honours is illegal in the way that having a pint at 17 is illegal. But selling British citizenship is something else.
If Prince Charles's right-hand man is doing that, then who else must be doing the same thing?

It is legal for children over 5 to drink alcohol on private premises in England & Wales (no age limit in Scotland) and for 16 & 17 year olds to drink beer, wine or cider in licenced premises as long as it's with a 'substantial meal'.

Fawcett has done this once, for charity. The people running all political parties do it all the time, not for charity. A reference from Corbyn wouldn't have got anyone a passport, but a reference for Starmer or from any Tory or Lib Dem Leader would.
