I very much doubt that LBC has sacked Nigel Farage. He has left its employ because he is planning something in relation to next year's elections. But what?
His vehicle could win list seats in London, Scotland and Wales, but he does not live in any of those. The qualifications for Mayor of London are broad enough to accommodate him, but he would stand no realistic chance of winning that.
Farage is still only 56, meaning that he is slightly, if only slightly, on the young side to become one of those former national politicians who take up a seat on the council in order to keep their hands in. Then again, here in Lanchester, we are bracing ourselves for an attempt at that by someone who will be only 33.
Farage is up to something. But what?
They sacked him because of BLM-24 hours earlier he’d told his listeners he’d be back on air same time next day. It’s apparently now illegal to hire a radio presenter in Britain who doesn’t want to abolish our history and pull down Sir Robert Peel, Winston Churchill and Nelson’s Column. Perhaps normal patriotism is now considered “Far Right” by LBC.
ReplyDeleteThere's more to it than this. He's up to something.
