Immunity?

The name of RAF Croughton might suggest that it was something to do with Britain. But beyond being located here, it is no such thing.

It has been an American base for nearly 70 years, wholly beyond the law of this land for most legal and all practical purposes.

Its presence, like that of several others with fake British names, has never been authorised by Parliament.

Despite that, BT provides Croughton's state of the art connections to another American base, in Djibouti.

From there, drone strikes on Yemen are launched, contributing significantly to the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today.

Following my reproduction of his article on Julian Assange, Gavin Lewis has kindly sent me this, which provides a useful context to all of this.

All of this, which includes the American sanctioning of an invasion and an impending de facto annexation of Northern Syria, as surely as of Northern Cyprus, by NATO, Islamist Turkey.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. A new party is now in the process of registration.

After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I will stand for Parliament here at North West Durham.

The crowdfunding page is here, and buy the book here. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
