All political parties are objects of merely provisional allegiance, but none is more so than the American Democratic Party. As is being said on social media, that party has not kicked this many people out of restaurants since the 1950s.
Among other bad features, it has a long, long history as by some distance the most effective white supremacist political party in the world, and it has never entirely reformed. But, although at least she did used to call out Obama as well, there obviously does need to be some kind of censure of Maxine Waters.
If in America they have Maxine Waters, then in Britain we have Anne Marie Morris, who is still a Member of Parliament. I would move to expel Morris from the House of Commons for her public use of the n-word, which would now be career-ending in South Africa or in the Southern United States.
The sitting MP for North West Durham makes great play of her supposed anti-racist credentials, but no motion to expel Morris has been tabled in her name. I need £10,000 in order to stand for Parliament with any chance of winning.
