Jog On

I am not surprised that someone hostile got that close to David Cameron.

I was on Hilary Armstrong's Constituency Executive before, during and after the invasion of Iraq while she was Chief Whip.

Some demonstrators once got into the meeting (at the old Consett Civic Centre).

She had no evident security then, or when we used to go canvassing with her at election times, or ever.

Mind you, they had probably decided that if even we were not going to kill her, then no one else was going to bother.

But that would be several other stories.

  1. He was not hostile. How can a man of your considerable intellect make that mistake? I am at a loss to explain. Back to reading your books, it's all life is worth these days.

    1. Of course he was. Everyone in this country is hostile to David Cameron, from his party down. Or up.
