Jess, Please Leave The Big Sister House

If Jess Phillips is the answer, then what is the question? And what specific political opinion has she ever expressed? She is the candidate of politics as reality television.

Within that, she would succeed in reuniting the broken Labour base only by uniting against her party the ethnic minorities that she has repeatedly insulted and the working-class men to whom she embodies everything that has turned them off it. Bring on Ian Lavery, who addressed last year's Durham Miners' Gala while Phillips was enjoying a complimentary corporate seat at Wimbledon.

In defining and reaching the people and places that Labour lost, the word "white" is superfluous. Most places in Britain are overwhelmingly white, and even most places that voted Remain were predominantly so. Indeed, voting to leave the very, very, very white EU may have been many things, but it could not possibly have been an expression of pan-Caucasianism. That could only have been voting Remain.

No matter who had become the Leader of the Labour Party or anything else, I will be standing for Parliament again here at North West Durham next time, so please give generously. In any event, please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
