Down The Pan?

"Pansexual" used to be called "bisexual", but then there stopped being only two sexes. Or, at any rate, there did if you wanted to become the Leader of the Liberal Democrats. Or the Leader of any other party in the House of Commons apart from the DUP. Or even a parliamentary candidate for any of them either as a first timer or anywhere where you might realistically expect to become the new MP.

Identity based on same-sex attraction has been effectively negated, and now identity based on attraction to both sexes is going the same way. It may already have done so. Identity politics is eating itself, a repast that will have neoliberal economic policy as its side dish and neoconservative foreign policy as its accompanying tipple.

This is our moment to uphold family and community values by securing economic equality and international peace through the democratic political control of the means to those ends, including national and parliamentary sovereignty. I will be standing for Parliament again here at North West Durham next time, so please give generously. In any event, please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.

  1. It's true they'll tolerate MPs who don't buy into this if they've been there for years and are Jacob Rees-Mogg level of eccentric anyhow, but anybody wanting to stand either for the first time or for the first time in a winnable seat has to be absolutely woke as hell.

    1. Indeed. They always say "Jacob Rees-Mogg", as if he were somehow typical. Or would now be allowed to be a parliamentary candidate if he were not already an MP. He isn't, and he wouldn't be.
