Donald Trump Has Opened The Gates of Hell

Qassem Soleimani was a very evil man. He was also indispensable to the fight against the so-called Islamic State. And that, of course, is really Saudi Arabia. So the Saudis' American puppets have murdered him at Baghdad Airport, in not exactly the first illegal violation of Iraqi sovereignty.

In what sense is the United States not now at war with Iran for Saudi Arabia, and thus for the so-called Islamic State? So much for America First. So much, in foreign policy terms, for Donald Trump. No American personnel in Iraq would have been attacked by Iranian-backed militias or by anyone else if Trump had kept his campaign promise to bring them home. Astonishingly, the retaliation for the murder of Soleimani will be held up as proof that it had been the right thing to do.

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is now in mortal danger, because it would be "unpatriotic" for a British Prime Minister to distance himself in any way from anything that the United States, or Saudi Arabia (which inspires, directs and funds terrorism on our streets), or Israel (criticism of which is about to be made a criminal offence, having already been made grounds for expulsion from the Labour Party), might ever say or do at any given time. That is now the official definition of "patriotism" in Britain, and if mere Britons die as a result, then who cares?

Well, I care. And I will be standing for Parliament again here at North West Durham next time, so please give generously. In any event, please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
