The libertarian wings of the Rightist organs, and the High Tory Americosceptics and Ziosceptics on the Mail and Telegraph titles, would have loved to have run this story.

But the Telegraph papers are too full of British spooks. The Murdoch papers are too full of American and Israeli spooks. And the Mail papers are all over the place as King Lear enters his final scenes.

You would all have been saying something entirely different if this had appeared via any of those outlets.
