    You will note that they are not actually out there.

    We have already lost this war, but we refuse to bring our troops home. At least when we were kicked out of Basra, one of our biggest ever military defeats, we got the message, even if it did take us a while.

    When are we going to get the message in, from and about Afghanistan in general and Helmand in particular? Will we ever?
