Bashing Bashir

Having recounted the fulsome tributes from all parties to the late Bashir Ahmad MSP, Martin Kelly reminds us that:

On February 5 2006, Mr. Ahmad desecrated a Mass. Given the fulsomeness of the tributes currently being paid to him, it seems only appropriate to append that footnote to his eulogies.

There are many, many reasons why Scotland's Catholics form such a bulwark of the Union. This is one of them.
