The 99 Club will have a branch in each of the English ceremonial counties, the Scottish lieutenancy areas, the Welsh preserved counties, and the Northern Irish counties, a total of 99 units. Each branch will identify two projects within its area in each the main public service fields, and the Club will raise funds to be divided equally each year among all those projects throughout the United Kingdom.
It will also encourage any parliamentary candidate to undertake to secure matching public funding for each and every such project. The names of those candidates who have so undertaken will be made public in the run-up to each General Election, provided, in the case of those seeking re-election, that such candidates already have proven track records of so securing. Eventually, the Club will seek to meet those candidates’ election expenses.
For reasons of cost, the Society will communicate only by email, initially davidaslindsay@hotmail.com

How are you going to fund yourself?
ReplyDeleteOld-fashioned fundraising.
ReplyDeleteBut remember, it only says "eventually" on the only part of this project requiring any money at all.
Any fixed sum, you mean?
