GMB To Cut MPs' Funding

But what masochism ever motivated them to fund New Labour at all?

    I've some old friends in the GMB. I used to be in it at an old job.

    Seriously, if they're now going to have money to spare, and if they're finally fed up with New Labour. I mean, even if it were only locally here and there...

    Possibly that the Labour Government funds them! But don't worry. If former Socialist MEP Richard Balfe gets his way the Tories will keep the trough full.

    Well, the GMB, for one, won't be passing on that money to Labour any more.

    Guido is just wrong about this, anyway. The unions just collect the voluntary political levy as pass it on, that's all.
