In bemoaning the fact that he has never had a vote in the United Kingdom, Prince Harry, or whatever he now calls himself, has broadly come out as a republican.
I mean that word in the very simple sense that it has in Britain, where it means nothing more or less than someone who wants to abolish the British monarchy.
