Anything that annoys Jess Phillips must be to the good. I am not keen on naming suspects before charge.
But at the same time I have no desire to live in a country where people disappeared into police stations and were never mentioned again. And there is no law against the naming this MP.
Nor should there be. Neither adult accusers nor the adult accused should be entitled to anonymity. We either have an open system of justice, or we do not.
