Party Over Here

Far from being an attempt to challenge the Conservative Party from the Right, the Brexit Party is the only not explicitly Trotskyist party that would have explicit Trotskyists as candidates. First Alka Sehgal Cuthbert, and now Claire Fox as well. It is also enthusiastically supported by the decidedly non-Trotskyist George Galloway.

I am waiting for the Brexit Party to announce George as a candidate. He is well to the right of at least two whom they have already named, and, like them, he is far less of a Greeny than James Glancy is, based on Glancy's Twitter. Never mind the SBS. Glancy is a Greta Thunberg fanboy now. But don't let that put you off. After all, it hasn't put off either George or the Spiked crowd. All eyes are now on Counterfire and the Morning Star.

Once all of this is out of the way, then another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post. I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
