Brum, Brum, It's Revving Up

“Jess Phillips has got to go, and George Galloway needs to be the next MP for Birmingham Yardley. It is time for George versus the Dragon. We all know who won that one.”

Another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.

I will stand for this parliamentary seat of North West Durham, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.

  1. Major Tory splits over Europe, an impending constitutional crisis and growing Parliamentary efforts to block Brexit. Peter Hitchens is understandably smug that everything he predicted is coming true.

He predicted that voting to Leave was useless without voting for a Parliamentary party commited to leaving.

He predicted that the Tories were hopelessly split and needed to be replaced with a proper right wing pro British party.

He predicted that the Leave vote would create a constitutional crisis.

    The old man is wise.

    1. You are thinking of a party for which nobody would vote, and he is even more so, since he wants it to take votes from the Tory Right on a programme of cancelling Trident and renationalising the railways.

There has already been a right-wing breakaway from the Tories. It is collapsing before our very eyes. Not one MP would join another one. Not one. And it would certainly never get anyone elected to Parliament who was not already an MP. Ask Nigel Farage about that.
