The Twelfth And Last?

Six nights of really quite serious unrest have preceded what would until recently have been today's "high point of the Marching Season" in Northern Ireland. Yet it has scarcely been mentioned, at least in the London media, although perhaps more so in the Dublin.

But then, contrast the Orange Order with the England football team. Britain has given up pretending to be able to see what was ever supposed to have been so British about one of those. We are, in every sense, disengaging from Northern Ireland.
