While neither main party has ever been, as it were, whiter than white on racism, nevertheless last night's vote to cover up the Windrush papers placed it beyond doubt which of them was currently worse.
Jess Phillips, Ruth Smeeth and John Woodcock all abstained. Perhaps someone should hold a march against them? Someone experienced in such campaigning? Someone like, oh, I don't know, Marc Wadsworth?
