If it is your thing, then enjoy the buffoonery of Philip Davies while you can.
His Shipley constituency is going to be abolished completely under the boundary changes, with most of it going either to Bradford West, which we may safely say will not be electing Davies, or to Keighley, where the sitting MP is the Government Whip and former Housing Minister, Kris Hopkins.
That Davies is UKIP at heart is clear from the fact that he looks 15 years older than he really is. The same is true of Farage, of Nuttall (who is younger than some of my exes!), of Carswell, and of Reckless, among others.
But that is by the by.
The point is that the boundary changes are going to purge the Conservative Loony Right as surely as they are going to purge the Labour Loony Right.
In the next Parliament, the centres of gravity of both parties are going to be well to the left of where they are now, socially in the Conservative case, economically and on foreign and defence policy in the Labour case.
