He didn't clear the Government. Very far from it, in fact. But Blair's media lackies were too spineless or too stupid to ask the question at the press conference on his report. He was utterly astonished, having been all ready to give the answer.
Now, how about a day trip to the coming public inquiry? Perhaps on the day of Blair's appearance before it...
