    It would split the vote - Neil benefits from the very split right-wing vote.

    And anyway, I'm not really a blogosphere blogger. This blog very rarely features anything to do with blogging as such.

    Well, neither is Neil (this isn't a criticism of Neil, by the way) - it's extremely rare to see his pieces linked from anywhere else, except your blog, of course.
