The TTIP acronym is unfortunate, but good luck to the Taking The Initiative Party, which has been founded out of Black Lives Matter. The other half of the Red Wall will turn Blue under the man whose disastrous Brexit policy caused the first half to collapse last year. Here's to the collapse of the Black Wall, too. Labour richly deserves this.
Labour is presenting as a potential Prime Minister a former Director of Public Prosecutions who has effectively killed off the Forde Inquiry into racism among the party’s staff, who is still presiding over the victimisation of black women MPs, who has dismissed Black Lives Matter as a “moment”, who has identified with those who had taken selfies alongside the bodies of black murder victims, who has replaced Diane Abbott with an all-white Shadow Home Office team that had repeatedly been outflanked on the left by Priti Patel, who has promoted Jess Phillips, who has rejected self-determination for Kashmir, who has indicated his view of self-determination for the Chagos Islands by revelling in his role in the torture of Julian Assange, who refused to bring charges in relation to the death of Jean Charles de Menezes, and who has failed to oppose the early lifting of the lockdown despite the far higher risk of Covid-19 to people of colour.
