The Nerve of It All

The EU Ambassador, whatever that is, has been recalled from Moscow. But not the Ambassador of any EU, or NATO, member state. Including this one.

I am very glad that Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey has been discharged from hospital. I congratulate the staff of Salisbury District Hospital on their apparent expertise in the treatment of weapons grade nerve agents. Perhaps, being so close to Porton Down, they do indeed possess such expertise. In which case, what does that tell us?

Meanwhile, we are told that there is a fourth victim, an unnamed Police Officer who is being treated as an outpatient. An outpatient. After a weapons grade nerve agent attack. If we believe this, then we must all be out to something.

Let joy be unconfined if the Skripals are still alive on Sunday, three weeks after the supposed activation of a weapon of mass destruction against them. Not least, let joy be unconfined because at that point, Theresa May and Boris Johnson ought to have to resign. They won't, of course. But they ought to have to.
