Hear All Sides

I know how to restore seriousness to next week's edition of Question Time with the bad taste comedians Russell Brand, Boris Johnson and Melanie Phillips.

Bashar al-Assad used to work as a doctor in London. He speaks perfect English, for all the use that that will have been to him there.

Let's have him on the panel.

    I fear Brand, Johnson and Phillips mighr be rather anti-Assad. So let's have Neil Clark on for some balance.

    All the panel needs is Oliver Kamm-that would add comedy to proceedings.

    I am not sure than Johnson would be pro-war. We shall see. Brand, of course, will know nothing about it.

    Kamm now seems to be on some broadcasting blacklist. Jolly good.

    But far probably, he just has nothing that anyone is remotely interested in hearing.
