Éoin Clarke does not quite say it, but this can only mean that any self-respecting Labour Party would now expel Tony Blair, Purple Labour and Progress:

In October 2011 Tony Blair accepted $13,000,000 to engage in reputation laundering for Uzbekistan (See Daily Mail)

The founder of Bell-Pottinger has made £67,000,000 in one year alone (2008) in such reputation laundering as the UK has become the world's centre of reputation laundering (See Guardian)

Tony Blair's former advisor Tim Allen has set up his own reputation laundering business Portland and recently advised Kazakhstan on cleaning up its image (see here).

Bell Pottinger Sans Frontiers has refused to sign the industry's voluntary code for best practice. Its head, David Hill was Tony Blair's director of Communications for 5 years (see here).

In 2007, John Grogan MP (Labour) warned that Bell-Pottinger had not signed up to an ethics code. (see here)

The latest revelations were revealed today when the Independent unveiled its sting against Bell-Pottinger and its prospective deal to reputation launder Uzbekistan (see Independent)

Bell Pottinger is also defending News of the World Chief Executive Rebekah Brooks (see Daily Telegraph)

In 1998, Tim Bell, the chairperson of Bell Pottinger was ennobled by Tony Blair as the Baron of Belgravia.

• Bell ran the publicity campaigns for the Tory Party that led to Labour election defeats in 1979, 1983 and 1987.

• Bell is a close friend of Margaret Thatcher

• Bell was hired to run the government's PR campaign during the Coal Miners strike of 1984-5. Before he was ennobled by Tony Blair

• A book emerged during 1997 accusing Bell of cocaine abuse in the 1960s.

• Bell has had paid work on behalf of the new Iraqi government from 2004 in promoting democracy (see here)

• Bell also worked for the Saudi government in ending the Serious Fraud Office's inquiry into Al Yamamah arms contracts. (see here)

• Bell also works for the Augusto Pinochet Foundation.
