Don't Rate Them

Who are these people? Like Sarkozy or loathe him, and I am firmly in the latter camp, he is at least removable by an electorate.

  1. The ratings wouldn't be of any significance if governments didn't want to borrow any money. But electorates, and the governments they elect, do decide to borrow money. They can hardly complain if the people lending the money take advice about the creditworthiness of the borrowers.
