Who are these people, "The Taxpayers' Alliance", who are so exercised to prevent the common folk, the ones who really do pay taxes, from being able to move about? Are they the same outfit whose former campaign director has just been made Director of Communications at Michael Gove's Department of Eductaion, on a six-figure salary for a man who made his name denouncing all public spending and accusing the previous Government of politicising the Civil Service, to which this post belongs?
