Yes, you read aright.
Richard Desmond has his eye on The Sun, which pays the salaries of the writers on the Blair-loving, Pope-hating, loss-making Times. Desmond has no more desire to buy The Times than you or I have at the newsagent's.
One such writer is Oliver Kamm. So, in the admittedly unlikely event of Desmond's purchasing a newspaper of which Rupert Murdoch is not merely the proprietor but the Editor-in-Chief, what alternative employment can be found for Kamm? In particular, where else in Richard Desmond's stable might he be of use, as what, and why?
Over to you, dear readers of this blog in the black.

Does Richard Desmond still own 'Mega Boobs'? He keeps making one of himself, especially when he's writing rubbish like this; http://timesonline.typepad.com/oliver_kamm/2009/12/irans-nuclear-deceit-the-apologists-respond.html
ReplyDeleteAs I understand it Gimlet got the Times' deal because of another short-arsed little character that we all laughed at who answered to the name of "Spud" at Oxford - step forward Dan Finkelstein.
ReplyDeleteIf Spud ever got the boot then you can kiss goodbye to Gimlet, which would be a pity because he really is the gift that keeps on giving to a bored blogger.
Editong 'OK!'?
