The public sector (including MPs and Ministers) should be banned by statute from paying any employee more than ten times what it pays any other employee, with its median wage pegged permanently (and, again, by statute) at the median wage in the private sector.
That is the policy of the British People's Alliance. Unions and others, do get in touch - info@britishpeoplesalliance.org.uk

where is your website? You promised it up months ago
ReplyDeleteGetting everyone to agree what should be on it has been, well, an experience...
ReplyDeleteBut watch this space.
Unless I have to go into hospital again, of course.
The email address works. I have just used it.

ReplyDeleteDo you mean your executive committee, or some such body like that? Will the website have further details about them and contact details etc? Also, will it contain info about certain selected candidates like the major party websites?
We have always said that we won't be publishing candidates' lists until they are complete. That hasn't changed, and it won't change.
ReplyDeleteYou said last year that you would field candidates in the european elections - is this still the case or is there a further delay on standing any candidates?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that's what we're doing. We do still have a couple of vacancies, though. And of course, we need people in reserve in case of deaths or whatever. So anyone interested, do get in touch - davidaslindsay@hotmail.com

ReplyDeleteWhy - are your candidates even older than the activists who are now the mainstay of the established political parties?
Quite the reverse.
ReplyDeleteBut I recently went into hopsital for an hour and a hlaf and stayed for a week following major emergency surgery.
A week after getting out, I was in for another week having collapsed unable to breathe due to a blood clot on my lung.
So you never know. You really don't.
Now, back on topic, please.
