All my life, Suella. I've been dealing with you all my life. The brown people who think they'd treat you differently. But we really do all look the same to them, Suella. We really do all look the same to them.
Parading without interruption to the City of London's boundary with that of Westminster, the Lord Mayor's Show will begin at the Guildhall at 10:45am on Saturday, 11th November. Take as long as you need.
And take as long as you need over the fact that the Edinburgh poppy-seller Jim Henderson besports himself in the beret of the Royal Corps of Signals or in that of the Parachute Regiment, as it pleases him. As the Police have confirmed, something else for which there is no evidence is that he was assaulted by armistice activists or anyone else.
The Western Front Association, which holds the only Armistice Day event at the Cenotaph, has no more objected to the march for an armistice than to the Lord Mayor's Parade, not least because neither of them will go anywhere near the Cenotaph, although only the City of London's will break the two minutes' silence. The Royal British Legion remains silent. And even Johnny Mercer rejects Suella Braverman's attack on the Police. No doubt both the Association and the Legion would contend that any dishonour is in this country's ever-appalling treatment of veterans, for which Mercer is the Minister responsible.
Even the awful Tory on Question Time said he hoped the march would be better or something after the talks that had been held, he didn't want it cancelled or banned.
