How some people love to hate Wetherspoons. How they gloat at closures, a certain number of which are inevitable from time to time in a business of that size.
What they mean is that they hate the customers. Obviously, since we are so numerous, then we must cover the full economic, social, cultural and political range.
At the same time, though, we are by definition the people who value the reasonable prices at Wetherspoons. We are the backbone of Britain, and they know it. We should wear their hatred as a badge of honour.
Did you really get all your nominations to stand for Parliament in Consett Wetherspoons?
ReplyDeleteNot all of them. But several, yes.
