I cannot see what has disappeared, by my post count has just gone down by one.
I see you. As you intend me to see you.
Political prisoner, activist, journalist, hymn-writer, emerging thinktanker, aspiring novelist, "tribal elder", 2019 parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, Shadow Leader of the Opposition, "Speedboat", "The Cockroach", eagerly awaiting the second (or possibly third) attempt to murder me.
Keir Starmer's Labour is boxing very clever. It knows there's no votes in supporting illegal immigration, and is backing the barges. Adopting the Blair playbook of pretending to be rightwing is the only way Labour can win elections in Britain. There's a reason no party to the Left of Labour wins any votes at all and no one reads the likes of the Morning Star-while the rightwing papers outsell all the others put together.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, I love the story that some migrants have refused to enter the barge (and the Home Office has told them in that case they will have to go homeless). Imagine having the cheek to come to a country illegally and then be fussy about the taxpayer-funded accommodation that country provides you!
But no one wants the barges. They may have diametrically opposed reasons for not wanting them, but no one wants them. Hey, ho, Yvette Cooper has always been overrated, and Stephen Kinnock's stupidity has never been in doubt.
