At Least For Now

"I have been an MP since 2001," writes Boris Johnson. Not continuously, he hasn't. He cannot even tell the truth about that.

But Labour supporters who are demanding a General Election, a General Election about what, exactly?

Still, as a Commonwealth citizen who is not serving a term of imprisonment in the United Kingdom or in the Republic of Ireland, Julian Assange is eligible to contest a British General Election.

All eyes are on Holborn and St Pancras, which is presently occupied by Keir Starmer. But the General Election is a year and a half away.

The by-election at Uxbridge and South Ruislip is going to be a lot sooner than that. Think on.

  1. How's the Assange campaign against Starmer coming along?
