It is inconceivable that anyone of any importance in the media ever did not know about Roy Greenslade. Now that everyone else does, then by all means drum him out of the corps. That is how it works.
At the same time, drum out everyone who supported any one or more of the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. It is for that last, ahead of anything else, that Nicolas Sarkozy ought to be sent to prison, and sent there for a very long time.
Moreover, Britain has today cut substantially its aid to Yemen while continuing to supply, and otherwise to participate in, the war on that country by such charming characters as Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
By far the biggest Labour rebellion of the Corbyn years was the mass abstention rather than condemn the British arming of that war. Every MP and commentator who had any role in that rebellion deserves to be hounded out of public life as surely as Greenslade does.
