The Next Step

Peter Hitchens is missing a trick. After the Bradford by-election of 2012, he wrote that, "If George Galloway can get elected to Parliament, then so can I." He never went through with that one, but if Claire Fox can get appointed to the House of Lords, then so can he. 

His point about Jeremy Corbyn, who did nothing more than meet terrorists (who didn't?), is well made. As is his point that Munira Mirza is strangely much less famous than Dominic Cummings.

But if the Revolutionary Communist Party can end up at the heart of a Conservative Government, and be seen as the sort of people who needed to be given peerages in order to please whoever it might be that the allocation of peerages pleased at the given time, then there really is hope for us all yet.
