Nothing To Crow About

It is sometimes claimed that George Osborne is an expert on Lyndon Baines Johnson. That strikes me as improbable for a wide variety of reasons.

One of them is that the Government that he adorns, while it knows about voter suppression, apparently knows nothing about the means of getting around it and defeating it.

Such movements tend to have a great deal of Momentum, which is capable of being channelled very effectively into a wide range of other campaigns.

If Osborne were indeed well-read on and around LBJ, then he would know all about that.
