Special Measures

Raise a glass to celebrate this afternoon's quite heavy Commons defeat (or, for the good side, victory) over pubs.

Whatever Michael Gove used to do to a school with an incompetent Head Teacher, that now needs to be done to the Government Whips' Office.

  1. This is hilarious. The Daily Telegraph-which is obviously going leftwing-says UKIP's longstanding policy to legalise firearms is "controversial".

Really? It's been in the British constitution since 1688.

The last Labour Government banned it in a moral panic over Dunblane because they know absolutely nothing about Britain or about liberty.

Soon, when Britain has been completely abolished, we'll have a generation growing up knowing nothing about Britain except the NHS and welfare, and probably being taught that the right to bear arms originated in America...

Even our own national papers have historical amnesia.
